Jordi Serracanta Marcet

Councillor for Tourism, Sports and Dynamization of the Municipality of Ordino.

With more than thirty years linked to the banking sector and information systems, he entered the world of politics in the town hall of Ordino, Principality of Andorra, in 2015 as Councillor for Tourism, Sports and Dynamization.

Since his first term (2015-2018) he has worked in tourism management, incorporating into his actions respect for the territory and the preservation of the cultural, agricultural and livestock identity of Ordino, a rural mountain area of great beauty in the Principality of Andorra.

The Municipality of Ordino achieved recognition by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve and, in 2023, recognition by the UNWTO as Best Tourism Village.

The creation and promotion of sustainable activities and events, not only at an economic level, but also environmentally, with landscape and cultural interest, characterize the current management.
