1. Object
This policy regulates the cancellation and refund conditions for tickets purchased through the website mountainlikers.com for participation in events organized by Mountainlikers.
The purchase of a ticket implies the express acceptance of this policy, as well as the Conditions of Purchase and the Privacy Policy.
2. Right of cancellation
Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
Refunds will only be made in the following cases:
- If the buyer cancels due to force majeure.
- If the event is canceled by the organization.
3. Exclusions from reimbursement
The following reasons, among others, will not give the right to a refund:
- Inability to travel for personal or professional reasons
- Denial of visas or administrative authorizations
- Transport, accommodation or logistics problems
- Illness, family incidents or changes in plans
- Error in the purchase by the user
These assumptions are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
4. Application procedure
To request a cancellation, in the event of force majeure, the buyer must send a written communication to the contact address indicated on the website (info@mountainlikers.com), including at least:
- Name and surnames
- Email used in purchase
- Order number
- Date of purchase
- Description of the reason for force majeure and supporting documentation, if applicable
Applications submitted after the Congress has begun or ended, as well as incomplete applications, will not be processed. Applications received after the deadline or incomplete applications will not be processed.
5. Term and form of reimbursement
Once the cancellation request has been validated by the Organization, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the approval of the cancellation request. In cases of refund due to force majeure, the following may be deducted from the amount to be refunded: applicable bank fees and commissions. It is recommended to consult in advance with the Technical secretariat via the address info@mountainlikers.com.
Refunds will not be made in cash or by means other than the original payment method.
6. Nature of the service
In accordance with the applicable regulations regarding e-commerce and services linked to leisure activities with a specific date, the purchase of tickets for a specific event is not subject to the general right of withdrawal, except in the cases expressly provided for in this policy.
7. Acceptance of the policy
Before completing the purchase process, the buyer declares to have read, understood and expressly accepted this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
